OUR PRODUCTION WORKFLOW

OUR QUALITY ASSURANCE & INSPECTION

Pre-Inspection Preparation

Receive and review inspection request and purchase order details. Confirm the product specifications, tech packs, and sampling details. Set inspection criteria (quality standards, AQL, and specific tests).

Inspection Scheduling

Coordinate with the manufacturer for a convenient inspection date. Ensure availability of samples, production batches, and necessary equipment at the site.

Arrival at Manufacturing Facility

Inspector arrives at the factory or warehouse. Meet with factory representatives and review the production status and timeline.

Random Sampling

Select a random sample size of garments from the production batch using the AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) system. Ensure sampling represents different sizes, colours, and styles if applicable.

Visual Inspection

Check overall garment appearance (colour consistency, design accuracy, trims, and embellishments). Inspect for defects like stains, loose threads, misalignment, or fabric flaws. Verify stitching quality, seam strength, and overall workmanship.

Measurement Inspection

Measure key dimensions (length, waist, sleeve, chest, etc.) against the specification sheet. Compare measurements to size charts and tolerances in the tech pack.

Colourfastness & Fabric Tests

Perform fabric tests (colourfastness, shrinkage, pilling, etc.) if specified. Verify washing or treatment outcomes (fading, distressing, or other finish requirements).

Labelling & Packaging Inspection

Confirm the correct placement and information on labels (size, care instructions, brand). Check the packaging (poly bags, hangers, folding methods) for adherence to client specifications. Ensure correct tagging and barcode scanning.

Defect Classification

Classify defects as critical, major, or minor based on their impact on product quality or usability. Record defect types and frequencies.

Inspection Report

Document findings, including defects, measurement discrepancies, and any non-conformities. Attach photos and detailed notes in the inspection report.

Final Decision

Recommend acceptance, rejection, or re-inspection based on AQL and overall quality. Submit the report to the client for approval or further action.

Post-Inspection Follow-up

In cases of failed inspection, work with the manufacturer on corrective actions. Conduct a re-inspection if required after corrections are made.
